The threat of internal and external fires is a nationwide phenomena. Homes located in the wildland urban interface, rural intermix, and high fire risk urban areas are subject to severe and frequent fires.
Each year millions of homeowners take action to suppress fires in and around their property. Home fires can double in size every minute, making it vital for the homeowner to take action immediately. Unfortunately these fires are often suppressed by whatever means is available -- a garden hose, pan of dishwater, salt, fire extinguisher or a blanket.
The good news is that now Fire Solutions manufactures a powerful foam fire protection tool for the homeowner to use in suppressing internal and external fires. In an emergency our Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) allow you to "foam down" critical areas to advance protect against approaching fires. Our safe and effective Home Pro unit is a valuable tool for home fire protection. The Home Pro unit provides protection and suppression far beyond home fire extinguishers and other methods. If you value your home, you'll value the Fire Solutions' Home Pro unit.
The Home Pro fire protection system is completely self contained and is easy to use. A simple quarter turn of a lever activates the unit. It instantly and automatically produces a powerful projection of fire suppression and fire prevention foam. No power source is needed ...there is no need for a water source ...and no training is required to operate it. Even when the hose is full of foam it is still easy for one person to move about. Recharge is simple and can be done by the homeowner. Maintenance requires checking the level of the nitrogen or air cylinder once a year.
For longevity of service, the Home Pro fire protection system has a protective coating powder-coat paint. All pipe and fittings are made of stainless steel, brass or non-corrosive materials. If shielded from sunlight and protected from freezing, maintenance should be practically zero for the lifetime of the unit. The shelf life of the Class A foam is 25 or more years and can be purchased from several sources.
The Home Pro fire suppression and fire prevention system is shipped complete with 100" feet of lightweight hose and Class A or B foam. Upon delivery just add water and the unit is ready to operate.
Fire Solutions provides a Class A or B foam with each Home Pro unit. This superior foam has a proven track record for efficient fire suppression and protection of unburned fuels--and it is non-toxic and biodegradable. This foam does a terrific job in suppressing wood, cloth, peat, and related fuel type fires. The National Institute of Standards and Technologies has determined that foams increase the fire suppression efficiency of water by 3 to 5 times. Firefighters have found that foam is so effective in the suppression of fire, that water damage is minimal or nonexistent.
The reason is that foams reduce the surface tension of water, allowing penetration of water into fuels that normally repel water such as charcoal, dusty roofs and natural fuels. This blanket of foam reflects radiated heat, suppresses vapors, cools surfaces and captures and suppresses sparks and falling embers. The clinging capability of this foam allows the formation of a blanket of bubbles on horizontals, verticals, ceilings or other overhead surfaces. There are no environmental problems with our foam. They are also non-toxic and biodegradable.
This foam is highly effective for fire suppression and also serves as a fire prevention tool, protecting homes from approaching wildfires or from nearby structure fire. Even after the foam disappears most fuels will stay wet for a considerable time while the foam remains on "home fire prevention duty".
The Home Pro unit allows the homeowner to live safely and protect their valuable home in fire prone environments such as the wildland interface, rural intermix and at-risk urban areas. Many local, state and private fire agencies provide guidelines and planning assistance to homeowners to develop fire prevention plans. The Home Pro unit can provide valuable assistance to help you meet your fire protection and fire prevention needs.
